Club Nights
Never been to a flower club….
This is what happens on our club nights.
Most months we invite a qualified demonstrator who creates up to 6 different flower arrangements, all on a particular theme. We have had some really amazing demonstrators who have been influenced by their world travels whose designs are inspirational. Whilst arranging, they talk about the different flowers they have chosen, tips on how to condition the flowers or how they have created the mechanics for the design along with anecdotes from their lives.
The arrangements are raffled off at the end of the evening so you get a chance to take one home. There are refreshments at the meeting, a sales table where you can buy floral foam, potting tape etc. to use in flower arranging, and there is an optional competition each month for members to bring along an arrangement which interprets the title for the month. Other members vote a winner with coins, and the money collected goes to our nominated charity.
